Liza Balough
Liza Balough began her training at the age of fourteen with Kee-juan Han at the Arizona Ballet School. After three years of intensive study with Han, she followed him when he joined the faculty of the North Carolina School of the Arts. At NCSA ,she had the honor of studying with the great Melissa Hayden and performed leading roles in Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, and Balanchine's Symphonie Concertante. Upon graduation, Miss Balough joined the corps of the Vienna State Opera Ballet. She now resides in New York and works as a freelance dancer. She is also a part-time student at Columbia University.
Kira Boesch

Kira Boesch
Kira Boesch is from New York City and was trained at the School of American Ballet, Ballet Academy East, and the London Studio Centre. She has previously performed with Dances Patrelle in The Firebird, The Yorkville Nutcracker, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and in USO Radio Show 1942. Kira was also previously a member of the Staatsballett Berlin.
Duncan Cooper
Duncan Cooper is a native of New York and San Francisco. Mr. Cooper joined Dance Theatre of Harlem in 1995. His main training was at San Francisco Ballet School and the School of New York Ballet. He has danced leading roles in Balanchine's Apollo, Prodigal Son, Agon, Allegro Brilliante, Four Temperaments. Other roles such as Albrecht in Giselle, Fancy Free, Thais, Sphinx, Firebird and Song For Dead Warriors. As a guest artist he has appeared with companies such as the New York City Ballet for their Balanchine Centennial Celebration, in Stars &Stripes as El Capitan, in Thais with the Royal Birmingham Ballet, Dance Brazil's Festival and Apollo for Summer Stage. Recently, Mr. Cooper was invited to dance the role in a new work, Silver Circles, with Rebecca Kelly Ballet for its 25th Anniversary season. In 2001, Mr. Cooper danced the title role in Macbeth with Dance Patrelle and is honored to have the opportunity to work with the company again.
James Reed Hague

James Reed Hague
Born in Seattle, Reed began his dance training at the Pacific Northwest Ballet School under the direction of Patricia Russell before joining its professional division in 2004. While at PNBS he was featured as a demi-soloist in George Balanchine's Symphony in C and performed with the company in Kent Stowell's Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Cinderella. Reed also danced in the BBC filmed production of Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream in London. He is currently a member of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet. This is Mr. Haue's third season with dP, having previously performed in last season's The Yorkville Nucracker and Red/Ellington.
Stephen Hanna

Stephen Hanna
Stephen Hanna (Principal, New York City Ballet) was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He entered the School of American Ballet (SAB), the official school of New York City Ballet, in the fall of 1992. Mr. Hanna became an apprentice with New York City Ballet in 1997, and later that year he joined the company as a member of the corps de ballet. Mr. Hanna was promoted to the rank of soloist in February 2004, and in January 2005, he was promoted to principal dancer. This is his second performance with Dances Patrelle, having previously danced the role of Cavalier in The Yorkville Nutcracker, partnering Jenifer Ringer.

Heather Hawk
Heather Hawk began her ballet training in her home state of Indiana and later in Chicago at the Stone-Camyrn School. She also studied at the Ruth Page Foundation and the Chicago City Ballet School. In New York, Heather attended the School of American Ballet. Upon graduation, she was invited to spend two months with the Royal Danish Ballet as part of the SAB exchange program. Heather joined NYCB, dancing with the company for four years in the Balanchine, Robbins and Martins repertoire. Ms. Hawk has dances in Dances Patrelle's world premieres of Madame X, Glad to be Unhappy, POP, and as the Snow Queen in The Yorkville Nutcracker.
Benjamin J. Lester

Benjamin Lester
Benjamin J. Lester was raised in Connecticut where he began his dance training at the age of seven. He has studied all over the United States on full scholarship including the Nutmeg Ballet, the school of the Hartford Ballet, the School of American Ballet, and Pacific Northwest Ballet School. In 1998 Mr. Lester was invited to join the Pacific Northwest Ballet under the direction of Francia Russell and Kent Stowell. While there, he performed a wide range of the company's repertoire locally and internationally. Now a resident of New York City, Mr. Lester works with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Fugate/Bahiri's Ballet NY, Dances Patrelle, Camber Dance Project, Configurations, Connecticut Ballet and guests through out the country. Mr. Lester has an extensive repertoire of ballets by choreographers such as George Balanchine, Eugene Loring, Anthony Tudor, Rudi Van Dantzig, William Forsythe, Francis Patrelle, Val Caniparoli, Jodie Gates, Stanton Welch, Thaddeus Davis, Mark Dendy, Miguel Gutierrez, Kent Stowell and others. He also has several film credits including the BBC production of Balanchine's A Midsummer Nights Dream directed by Ross MacGibbon. Mr. Lester teaches dance, is an event manager/stylist and was a founding board member of Second Stage, a career transition foundation for dancers.
Melissa Morrissey

Melissa Morrissey
Melissa Morrissey was born in Concord, NH and trained on scholarship at Boston Ballet School, the School of American Ballet and graduated from the National Ballet School in Toronto. She danced with the National Ballet of Canada for four years and with Dance Theatre of Harlem from 2000-2004. She has also performed with Fugate/Bahiri Ballet NY, the Metropolitan Opera, Chamber Dance Project, Sensedance, Ajkun Ballet Theatre, C. Eule Dance, Configuration, Eliot Feld's Ballet Tech, BalletMet and as a guest artist in the Balanchine/Ashton Gala with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. This is her third season with Dances Patrelle. She would like to thank her husband Christopher, her parents, and Lynne and Marc for always being there for her.
Eric Otto

Eric Otto
Eric Otto was born and raised in Westchester, NY. He began dancing at the age of seven at the School of American Ballet. Upon graduating from SAB, he danced professionally with the New York City Ballet, ABT Studio Company, American Ballet Theater, and Cedar Lake. In 2003 Mr. Otto was invited to join the Broadway and national Tour of Movin Out. He is currently dancing with Ballet NY.
John-Mark Owen

John-Mark Owen
John-Mark Owen began his ballet training in 1994 under the direction of Jean Evans Weaver in Macon, GA. He received a full scholarship in 1997 to attend the prestigious Chautauqua Institute where he studied with Jean-Pierre Bonnefueax, Patricia McBride, and Violet Verdy. From there he attended Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts before he was invited to join Nashville Ballet as a trainee in 1998. He joined Ohio Ballet in 2000 and toured the country performing ballets by Laura Dean, Heinz Poll, and Anne-Marie D'Angelo to name a few. After working with Peter Powlous and Zanne Colton at the Augusta Ballet he joined American Repertory Ballet under the direction of Graham Lustig. With ARB he performed Tiger in Lamberena, Bottom in A Midsummer's Night Dream, and Drosselmeyer in Lustig's Nutcracker, as well as several varied repertory works including Urban Tangos, Evening, and Uncertain Steps, all choreographed by Lustig. Also a guest artist with several companies around the Southeast his portrayal of the title role in Dracula for the Greenville Ballet earned critical acclaim. He is also working with Ballet NY under the direction of Judith Fugate and Medhi Bahiri.
Sabra Perry
Sabra Perry is a former member of National Ballet of Canada, Merce Cunningham's Repertory Understudy Group, The Hartford Ballet, and currently dances with Complexions. Sabra has appeared in Francis Patrelle's world premieres of Madame X, Appalachian Spring, Nocturno for Strings and Harp, POP, and Glad to Be Unhappy. She has also appeared in The Yorkville Nutcracker and Macbeth.

Jonathan Porretta (Principal, Pacific Northwest Ballet) is from Totowa, New Jersey. He trained on full scholarship at the School of American Ballet. He joined Pacific Northwest Ballet as an apprentice in 1999. He was promoted to corps de ballet in 2000, to soloist in 2002, and to pincipal in 2005. Mr. Porretta has danced leading roles in George Balanchine's Agon, The Four Temperaments (Melancholic), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Oberon, Puck), Prodigal Son, Rubies, Symphony in C, and Symphony in Three Movements; Todd Bolender's Souvenirs; Val Caniparoli's The Bridge, Lambarena, and Torque; Ulysses Dove's Red Angels; William Forsythe's Artifact II and In The Middle, Somewhat Elevated; Marco Goecke's solo Mopey; Ronald Hynd's The Sleeping Beauty (Bluebird pas de deux, Gold and Silver pas de trois); Peter Martins' Fearful Symmetries; Kirk Peterson's Amazed in Burning Dreams; Marius Petipa's Paquita; Kent Stowell's Carmina Burana, Cinderella (Jester), Hail to the Conquering Hero, Nutcracker (Prince, Commedia), Silver Lining, Swan Lake (Jester), and The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio); Richard Tanner's Ancient Airs and Dances; Lynne Taylor-Corbett's The Ballad of You and Me and Mercury; Glen Tetley's The Rite of Spring and Voluntaries; and Twyla Tharp's Nine Sinatra Songs. In 2004, Mr. Stowell choreographed Dual Lish for Mr. Porretta and Noelani Pantastico. He also originated leading roles in Nicolo Fonte's Almost Tango, Kevin O'Day's [soundaroun(d)ance], and Christopher Stowell's Quick Time and Za?s, and a featured role in Dominique Dumais' Time and Other Matter. Mr. Porretta has danced with Dances Patrelle in New York and has performed as a guest artist with Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and San Francisco Opera Ballet.
Jenifer Ringer

Jenifer Ringer
Jenifer Ringer (Principal, New York City Ballet) was born in New Bern, North Carolina and was raised in Summerville, South Carolina where she began her dance training at age 10 with local teachers. At age 12 she entered the Washington School of Ballet, where she studied for two years. After attending a summer session at the School of American Ballet, the official School of New York City Ballet, Ms. Ringer was invited to enter the winter session at the school on a full scholarship. She became an apprentice with New York City Ballet in October 1989 and a member of the corps de ballet in January 1990. She was promoted to the rank of soloist in January 1995. In the spring of 2000, Ms. Ringer was named principal dancer with NYCB. During her tenure with New York City Ballet, Ms. Ringer has been featured in works by Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Peter Martins, Robert La Fosse, Robert Garland, Sean Lavery and Christopher Wheeldon. Ms. Ringer has originated numerous roles for NYCB's Diamond Project. Ms. Ringer received her B.A. in English from Fordham University in December 1997. In July of 2000, she married NYCB Principal James Fayette. She has danced in Dances Patrelle's The Yorkville Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy) ,Romeo & Juliet (Juliet), and Red/Ellington.

Juan-Antonio Rodriguez
Juan-Antonio Rodriguez was born and raised in Westbury, Long Island. He received his training from Westbury Academy, Two Worlds, the Ailey School and was graduated from the Juilliard School with a BFA in 2001. Mr. Rodriguez has performed works by Hans Van Manen, William Forsythe, Alonzo King, Donald Byrd, and Dwight Rhoden. Juan has performed with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and is a member of Complexions Contemporary Ballet.
Julie Voshell

Julie Voshell
Julie Voshell is a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts, has danced with Donald Byrd/The Group, Jennifer Muller/The Works, Manhattan Ballet, Eglevsky Ballet, and North Carolina Dance Theatre, including seven seasons with Dances Patrelle. National tours include Swing! and Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Currently, Julie was the dance captain and swing in the national tour of Movin' Out. Her acting credits include several plays and independent films such as The Next Step and Who's the Top directed by Jennie Livingston.
Therese Wendler

Therese Wendler
Therese Wendler was born in Honolulu Hawaii. Therese received her ballet training from Nina Marlow in Phoenix, AZ. The Joffrey Ballet Program brought her to New York City. Since then, she has worked with Ballet Metropolitan of Caracas in Venezuela, Ballet International, Ballet Concierto of Puerto Rico, and Ballet Jorgen Canada in Toronto. She has worked intensely with Elena Kunikova, Diana Cartier, and Irina Koplakova. She has also performed for choreographer Mathew Brookoff in NYC. She currently is a principal dancer with Rebecca Kelly Ballet and performed with Duncan Cooper former dancer of DTH, in her new ballet Silver Circles. She recently performed with Connecticut Ballet on their new production of Cinderella as the title role of Cinderella and is happy again to reunite with Francis Patrelle in his upcoming spring production.
