We are proud to showcase more than 18 years of works by world-renowned choreographer Francis Patrelle, as well as other choreographers of dramatic dance that dP has produced. Here, you will find comprehensive descriptions of each performance, along with an archive of photographs. In the future, we also plan to include short promotional videos for each production.We are in the process of converting our materials to digital format, so some of your favorites ballets may not yet be represented. dP presents POP, a public performance of hidden lives with 3 couples, 3 New Years, 3 decades, and a search for joy. This full-length ballet, choreographed by Artistic Director Francis Patrelle, is staged on three separate New Year's evenings at three different nightclubs from the 1930's to the 1950's. POP features music by Noel Coward, Jerry Lee Lewis, and various popular songs about New York. Don't miss this exciting evening of dramatic dance, featuring some of New York's best dancers!
The Yorkville Nutcracker

It is with great pleasure that Dances Patrelle invites you to its 11th annual presentation of The Yorkville Nutcracker. This year marks the 11th anniversary of artistic director Francis Patrelle's unique rendition of Tchaikovsky's classic, a production that affords young dancers the opportunity to share the stage with some of today's greatest ballet luminaries.
